kuala lumpur was forgettable. not old enough to feel historic, not modern enough to feel exciting. people came across as a bit rude, and the city felt dirty and disorganized. the one highlight was the petronas towers lit up at night, that area was genuinely nice. batu caves were worth the trip too. but beyond that, not a place i'd go back to.
