rome. my first stop as a digital nomad and solo traveler. a city so full of history you trip over it just walking around. the colosseum, the forum, the plazas, the fountains. everything felt larger than life. threw a coin in the fontana di trevi, walked through trastevere at night, had some great gelato.
the food was good, but i'll be honest, i still prefer argentine pizza and pasta. i know that's borderline sacrilege, but it's how i feel.
also visited the vatican, which was impressive, though i went with a hangover and almost no sleep so i didn't enjoy it as much as i should have. met some great people at the hostel. the kind of instant friendships that happen when everyone's figuring out a new city together. not my best planned stop, but a good start to the journey.
