tulum, merida, san cristobal, and puerto escondido. the cenotes and beaches in tulum were great, but overall mexico was a bit disappointing. the food felt overrated, i never really had a meal that blew me away, and people didn't feel as welcoming as i'd expected. missed chichen itza because it didn't work out, and i skipped mexico city and oaxaca too, so maybe those would change my mind. jury's still out.
